She turned her face away from the fragile mirror on the verge of shattering.  A glitter in the vase accross the lofty room caught her attention.  Drawing near to it, she finds that the lovely velvet red rose it held started to whither-at a faster rate than what was known to her.  Unable to comprehend, she seeked the note laying on the lifeless table.  It said: NO MORE XANGA.

Some of my favorite songs:

For You I Will - Monica

Shout To The Lord

It Only Takes A Spark(?)

Hero - Mariah Carey

Intuition - Savage Garden

Butterfly Kisses - Bob [something]

All of My Favorite Things - from "Sound of Music"

When The Last Teardrop Falls - Blaque

Emotions - Destiny's Child

Keep Smiling(?)(or Friends Forever?) - Gloria Estefan

Eternal Flame

Because You Loved Me - Celine Dion

Monday was really hot and I got a cold.  I still owe Omar/Carson some toilet paper...  Having to get tissue paper every five seconds after I sit down is blah.

Tuesday after school walked to Meng's house by Vons then to Vicky's.. looked for a shortcut but decided not to take it with my unfamiliarity with the Carmel Valley area.  On the way, talked to several people.  It's fun asking for directions.  It feels like I'm a tourist exploring somewhere new.

Wednesday ate lunch at different place among the three different places I usually go.  Emily related to the girl who just moved from China so we ate with her then after school had girly bonding time.  Emily gone crazy with blankets.  The smell of make-up is nausiating.  Rite Aid and Jamba after.  It seems like the people that try all those diet plans are the people that don't need to.

Thursday (/today) was good-for me.  I'm so glad I have people like FO.  She reminds me of Julie, one of my best friends in 6th grade.  Both g-h-e-t-t-o.  Grace accidentally squirted me with hot sauce.  There were so many attempts for fooling people..  Lauren is really one of a kind.  The only person that would speak Chinese with me-besides adults (and whom I feel comfortable using my poor Chinese skills with).  School is rehab for being a boba addict.

During the past week, I got closer to some people.  I learned that the key to growth in a relationship is time and trust.

Lots of things happened yesterday..  I guess I won't talk about what happened in the morning..  I just want to say that I love my mom.  I don't understand her completely and she doesn't understand me.  Nevertheless, I love her.

Joanne and Joyce came over and we went to Kevin's house to watch "Inherit the Wind".  The movie was incorrect in more ways than one.  After, Jolin, Joyce and I talked about my living situation with "Uncle and Aunty 1's and 2's" (which was quite confusing).  Kit came over and brought the gallon of shampoo Kevin gave us for our birthday and conditioner..  After Joanne and Joyce left, Jeanne was at Kevin's.  I washed my hair.. I didn't know how to turn the faucet off properly..

From there, Kit's mom gave Jeanne, Kit, and me a ride to Anna's.  Steph was there and of course Anna.  Age between siblings matters in what their manner is towards you.  So we did our hair and ate pizza.

Got a ride from Anna's sister to Mira Mesa at around 6 or 7?  Steph went with Jem. : )  Waited for Monica.  Couldn't find her so we took pictures in a weird kick pose because the photographer told us to be creative.  I don't think he should tell that to us crazy lofoz.  There is such thing as being too creative.  On the dance floor, we found Monica.  The only people that were themed in our group was Steph and Monica.  Saw Brenna again!  Also Emily and some other people.  Later, Rachelle, Justine, and Rudolph joined us for part of the time.  Lots of avoiding while going to get water/punch.  Got home at around 11:45 tired.

After church, mom brought brother and me to a Chinese chorus performance.  It's great seeing people take part in society even at an old age.  I sat by Uncle Charles and then Aunty Katy.  People came to shake hands with them and asked if I was their daughter.  Uncle Charles said "yes" and the lady believed him.  So now, I have another set of parents.  That would make count 4?  Maybe more..

Cherry and Kevin sharing cheesecake

Jeanne, Kit, me, and Cherry

3 days into the 15th year in the life of Kevin/Kevry/Kerry/Mr.Blueberry/my younger big brother/neighbor/best [guy] friend

Woke up by Jeanne's phone call.  Woke her up later by going to her house a couple of hours early (since I am never on time-either early or late).  Watched some Vietnamese movie.  Jeanne made Kevin's lofo card while in her deformed Snoopy and Charlie Brown pajamas.

Picking up people.. Jeanne and I now know that Ronny lives around us...  We'll find out what house soon enough, mommy.

Kevin's birthday party today at Hometown Buffet.  People who attended: Kevin, Cherry, Jeanne, Ronalynne, Priscilla, Helen, Anna, Venkat, Jem, Celesta, Justine, and me.  Being his birthday, we all picked on Kevin by dipping his chicken and chips in his soda.  He actually ate the fry without noticing.  Anna and I didn't carry out our plan of getting the hat she wanted.  Plan A: "My love, I'll just take your hat."  Plan B: Anna flirt while I take from behind.

After hometown, Kit and I got separated from the rest of the gang because of our bad memory.  We couldn't remember what Jeanne said and couldn't find pink people at Toy's 'R Us.  We went to look for Biolage in four different hair salons.

Finding it expensive for us to have Asian hair, we went to Kevin's house and looked Kit looked it up on Ebay.  It's less expensive and we suddenly needed Venkat.  Next moment, Venkat appears outside Kevin's window.  Play some PS2 racing game.. Kit kicks butt.  Ate some cake and minty chips.  If you were locked in, you could live in Kevin's garage for months!  Got ride home at 9:45 even though I live a few houses down.

Anybody want to work for Mrs. Ta (Kevin's mom) at her nail/spa place as a receptionist/cashier/clerk?  It's in Poway.  Flexible hours are availible.  Ask me for her number if you are interested.

Yesterday, I watched "Secret Window".  It's the kind of movie that something happens in the beginning and things play out in the movie that make sense when you think about the beginning.

After, went rock climbing for the first time with the youth group.  Falling is fun.

"It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold-when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade." -Charles Dickens, Great Expectations

Green symbolizes greed, wealth, luck, envy, sickness, and at the same time, life.  I guess all those are included in the latter.

For a special occassion, is what the day signifies the matter?  Or is it (/has it become) the act of setting it apart?  Lost in translation throughout tradition.
